The Power Challenge

The Wisk Aero team was limited on available floor space, so any new test equipment would need to come with a small footprint in a rack that could be easily moved to different locations. Also, the company needed a domestic North American partner for service and maintenance requirements.

EA Elektro-Automatik’s turnkey power racks with casters and wheels allow for easy re-location around the facility, while other manufacturers require overhead cranes to move their systems. The racks arrive pre-programmed, so there is almost no need for additional programming or setup aside from specific customization.

Wisk Aero chose EA turnkey racks with a combination of PSB bidirectional DC power supplies, ELR electronic loads and PSI conventional DC power supplies, providing the perfect mix of conventional programmable and bidirectional power supplies and electronic loads.
